Seminar Conducted with PFDJ Members by Mr Zemhret Yohanes in London UK
Mr Zemhret Yohanes Head of Research & Documentation at the PFDJ (Peoples Front for Democracy & Justice) on the occasion of the Festival UK 2011 held a seminar with members of PFDJ. The seminar focused on current affairs, organizational structure, nation building process and the role that each PFDJ member could play.

H.E. Tesfamicael Gerahtu Ambassador of the state of Eritrea to the UK and Ireland, Embassy officials, and Heads of various committees also attended the seminar.

During the seminar Mr Zemhret gave extensive talk with regards to organizational power. Describing the impact of organization on society Mr Zemhret pointed out that achievements on economy, education, health and other sectors can only be possible only with strong organizational capacity together with clear vision, leadership, and organizational philosophy that is in line with the national charter.

Mr Zemhret further stated that the Peoples Front (PFDJ) in the last 20 years of independence has been working on the realisation of fulfilling the needs of the Eritrean people constantly focusing on national interests. He also stated that in Eritrea there could not be an organisation that could only serve the interests of the few, but rather an organisation of the Eritrean people that works for national interest, and this is part of the long political culture of the front that has been developing since the days of struggle for independence.

Towards the end of the seminar Mr Zemhret heard comments from participants and responded to their questions.

Eritrean Festival UK 2011 will be officially opened on Friday 21th of October, and will remain open until Saturday 22nd of October at The Decorium in Wood Green London, 22 Western Road, N22 6UH.
