Snit, an Eritrean group, which actively engages in art, sport, culture and recreation, held a party in Adulis restaurant on Saturday evening. Snit’s own full band played Eritrean songs throughout the night. The event was organized to raise fund for Snit’s youth activities involving art and sport.

 

While Snit’s members are mainly aged between sixteen and twenty five, the group also has list of supporters from the older members of the Eritrean community. In addition of its own activities, Snit has also been making a significant contribution on the Eritrean National Celebrations by performing drama, music and modern and cultural dances.  

Dj Aman Ras, who attended the party, told meadna: “I’m very impressed with their performance and I wish snit a success in helping to create a stronger Eritrean community through their activities.”  

Due to Popular Demand, Snit will have another party on the 11th of November 2006 in Adulis restaurant.
